I've been toying with the idea, and I'm sold now... I'd like to trade off my Imperial Guard army for some Chaos Space Marines. I've got quite a bit of IG stuff, so if you were looking to get started with IG, this may be a good chance. If you already have some IG, then this may be a good chance to bolster your forces. Even without kitting up your units, you can easily get this around 3000 pts.
I'm also included everything model-wise you need to get an Inquisitor Assassin (the Vindicare) in your army by way of Inducted Daemonhunters (usable in Apoc and non-Apoc games). I'm not including the Daemonhunter Codex though since I still play Daemonhunters, but Rob usually has it in stock. Inducting the Vindicare requires you to induct a Inquisitor Lord and Retinue and these models are included below.

In addition to all the above IG stuff, I also have a fully painted Col. Straken (that I think came out rather well). I can include him in a trade that includes all (or most) of the CSM stuff I want, but I would prefer not part with him otherwise.
I can bring any or all of the IG stuff to the store if you want to see any of it. For the transport choices, you can have either the Motor Pool or the Black&Decker. I'm currently using the Black&Decker toolbox because I hadn't had time to pluck the Motor Pool. If you're going for the better value, you'd be getting the Motor Pool for a song; but the Black & Decker toolbox has a convenience that appeals to the lazier people (like me).

It is all gone; all I have left is the codex. However, I have a bunch of new CSMs that'll be making appearances when things settle down (and I get some painting time) |

Aside form the models involved with Kurgan and Caleb, the rest are on hold for a moment. I have a friend interested in the IG as a lot for CSM as a lot (which is EXACTLY what I was hoping for). |

I have 1 plasma gun guardsman and need a total of four. Since you only had two I figured I'd ask if you had an extra plasma gun (so I can glue it to a guardsman body of my own). The trade seems good to me, but I figure I should ask you if you'd prefer a battle force? It's only five extra bucks on my part, but you get allot of extra units (15 chaos marines add up to around $47 dollars, and possessed are $26.50). Given you wouldn't get the codex, you'd get quite a bit of army (not sure if you can buy the codex right now). Just figured I'd throw that out there as it seems like a better deal on my part (given I don't play chaos so I wouldn't know exactly what to tell you).

On the Plasmagun... do you need 2 guardsmen 2/ plasmaguns + 1 plasmagun bit extra (I have all 3 of these)? Or just the plasmagun bits by itself?
How does Codex + box of Khorne Berzerkers + Rhino sound for the Basilisk, 4 HW teams, 4 Sgts., 2 Comm., and whatever the plasmagun stuff is? |

I'm going to be there Friday. Just to clarify I just need one plasma gun (after that I can rip the arms off a gaurdsman and get another one). If the commy has a PF I can probably rip it off with tweezers, and throw a chainsword on there. Any idea on what you would want in exchange though? I'd like to plan accordingly.

I can bring the models described (I'd have to check on the Commissars, but I think both have a Bolt Pistol, one might have a Power Fist (although if it's battery ran dry, it's basically be a CCW)... I can also bring the Basilisk as well, and I'm 99% certain I have extra Plasmagun bits (I checked).
What days are you @ the store? I'm planning to be there Friday right now, but my schedule is flexible enough that I can be there any day you are free.
I'm still torn on what I'm running for Mittennacht; I'm toying with the idea of rushing together some CSM, but haste makes waste... |

What's up Rob? I'm actually in need of a couple of models to finish up my 2000 point list for the upcoming Mittennacht campaign.
What I need:
4 x lascanon HW Teams
2 x Commissars (I'm hoping these are just bolt pistols & CC weapons?)
2 x Plasma Gaurdsmen
4 x sergeants
I'll buy you whatever boxes you need from Ogres for those, and also if you have an extra plasma gun bit it would be appreciated (if not I'll just make another one). I'm also interested in your basilisk depending on what you would like for that in addition.

Kasrkin are OLD... they're probably not getting re-made any time soon. I still like the models though; they were a good look between the Cadian guardsman and the Stormtroopers.
I have 1 platoon command that's made up of the old metal models (so 1 medic, 1 commander, 1 Std. bearer, etc...), but the rest are the new Cadian. |

I'd like to stick with trades to be in line with Rob's store policies. One thing that's worked well in the past is gift certificates or buying the box off the shelf to trade immediately. I find that it's worked well for getting people what they want and helping the store out. I can be there Friday for a bit in the afternoon to early evening. Were you referring to the unassembled Valk. or the assembled one (or both)?
Oh, I guess I should have been clear, that I would love to trade all my IG for all my wants; but I' more than fine trading some for some. The big deal I have is that I do like my Col. Straken, so I want to make sure he only goes to a good home  If there is somethign you want, feel free to make an offer of what you want in exchange for stuff from my wants and I'll entertain any offer. I can edit my list with any updates that come of this. |

I have some unpainted Chaos sprues and Bits. I only have enough for about 5 Marines, though. I do have cash if you would like to make a deal for that Valkyrie. I'm going to start a new thread to see if anyone is interested in doing a bits swap next friday. I plan on showing up around 4 or 5.

Best... Worst... It's all relative. Imperial Guards just don't suit the way I like to play. Sadly, of all the armies I have played, I think they had the best winning record for me. They're good, and a fairly forgiving army at that. But I have to change they way I think when I run them, and I'd rather try an army I've never played to see if it fits my style better.
An army is only the best if it's the one that you enjoy to play regardless of if you win or lose. For me, Daemonhunters are still supreme... Yeah, I lose more (alot more), but I enjoy every game much more than any other army I've ever played. From reading around, CSM might offer me a similar experience. |

Really you are going to trade! That is new, I always thought that Imp Guard is da best but I guess its your choice not mine. I have 5 red space marines and a bike if you need them but thats it Well, I guess then I wish you look friend.
