Posted - Oct 07 2009 : 12:55:54 AM Before I post up the October scenario I need to find out from you guys something fairly important. Who all is going to be around on Halloween weekend? I'm looking at Oct. 30th here. That's when this scenario would fall.
I suppose the other thing is - who would be interested in playing 40K scenarios on the Halloween weekend...muahaha!

Posted - Oct 30 2009 : 10:18:03 AM Nobody gets to walk on the field - they all start deployed...but they aren't deployed by Deep Strike, they're put where I telll you to put 'em. Daemonic Assualt will not apply here.
Also of note to Necron and Daemon players - when you die you too are infected by undeath. It's a magical undeath, not a biological. And if some smarty brings something immune to magic, then THEY are affected by a biological strain of it. :P All Hail the GM! |

Posted - Oct 29 2009 : 12:02:34 PM Hey Doc, I know it's last minute, but how are you handling Daemonic Assault (the rule that forces all Daemon's to Deep Strike) for this Scenario? I'm trying to decide what list to bring and I'm not sure if my Daemon's get to walk onto the field for once or if I'd be Deep Striking still. |

Posted - Oct 25 2009 : 11:06:22 PM It's coming up this week...
Oh, and with my new work schedule, I'm changing the start time to 6pm - so it'll be a 4 hour game (or shorter if problem is solved, of course). Probably make more sense it a confined time slot anyways...and creepier, too. Nighttime brings out the spooky people... |

Posted - Oct 22 2009 : 11:45:31 PM Quick update on this - adding to the Dawn of the Dead theme...
Tactical = Troops choice. First run you'll be alive and earning points... Second run you'll be ZOMBIFIED and earning points. These points are added to the First Run. Third run you restart scoring.
Mwahaha...zombie stats for your troops will NOT be uber, no worries...but the idea here is to have fun. |

Posted - Oct 15 2009 : 4:03:09 PM Okay, it sounds like 30th is a go then.
Official announcement: October 30th is the scenario "Dawn of the Dead"
What to bring: 2 (two!) Tactical squads of your choice, max points per squad 250 (so max points =500) These squads CAN be split up into two areas, but be wary...Also know you cannot have special characters, as usual. What the scenario is: Lots of Zombies, and you're trying to survive. Early Zombies are easy kills, but somehow they are learning... What time: It will start 3pm as usual and go until the zombie PROBLEM is eradicated. How much: $5 as usual, with top two places earning store credit. Date is October 30th. Be there, or Michael Jackson will come for you... |
