Looking for 1-2 players for D&D group. We are a group (of 4) all brand new from Alaska and wanting to get playing! We are wanting a "big" "meat & potatoes" game with advancement from 1-20 levels. Concentrated ROLE-playing not ROLL-playing.
**WARNING** DM and wife have a brand new 6-month baby who can take some attention away from the game. This doesn't bother the rest of us, please don't let it bother you.
I would also like to discuss co-DM'ing an over-reaching story for our groups....Forgotten Realms or Generic world is ok with me! |

| Hey all, I'm new to the area, and am looking for things to do on the weekends. I am 23 year old history major wrapping up my last steps towards my teaching license. I just moved down from Wisconsin, where at my university I was very involved with our campus gaming club (I was President and instrumental in planning our annual gaming convention (200-300 attendees and several major local vendors)). I've got about 2 to 2 and a half years of GMing experience under my belt, and have played a wide range of games, from RPGs to homebrews to Minis to Board Games to CCGs. My Personal game collection is, unfortunately, limited. Most of the RPG books and stuff that I used in college was club property. I've got a couple of games handy, plus my dice collection. I'm pretty much looking for anything to do with my time. If that means GMing one-shots on the weekends, I'm cool with that. If it means joining an existing campaign at the Ogre, that is cool too. If people just want to play a game of monopoly or super munchkin once a week, that's great. Basically, if anyone is in search of either a player, or a game, talk to me. I visited the Ogre for the first time tonight, and I cannot say how happy I am to have found such a welcoming community of kindred spirits. I look forward to hearing from any interested individuals/groups. |
