Hey guys. You may or may not have heard that M10 (2010) is out of stock at Wizards of the Coast's level until mid-August. Awesome set, they underproduced, and BAM... shortage for one whole month.

Well... this poses a problem since we are scheduled to do another 2010 booster draft this Thursday, right?

Here's the gig. You guys make the call. We will do a booster draft this Thursday and i have 3 more booster boxes coming probably Wednesdsy. The rub is that i had to pay more for these boxes becauses i bought them through another company and got to pay a lovely $25.00 shipping charge on top of it (but hey...i wanted boosster packs, yo!). To cover my cost i have to sell each pack at $5.99 instead of $3.99 on these 3 (and still make 20pts less margin than Wizards). Truth. Come mid-August, 2010 goes back to $3.99 per pack, and everybody can smile and giggle again.

SO! DO you guys want to pay $30.00 to draft 2010 this Thursday or shall we just do an Alara Reborn/Conflux/Shards draft? Or 3 2010 boosters but another set for prize support?

Your call here. Once my 3 2010 boxes are gone... we'll be waiting until the middle of August for more, too.

PS - if you knnow of another store doing Friday night magic drafting 2010... jump on it, fellas. Seriously.

Ok, here is the scoop/knowledge on my part. M10 is a beat your head together type of drafting... I'd say draft should be block Shards/C/R, but as players we should agree into M10 prize. This ups your cost a couple dollars, but actually provides a better/more strategic gameplay, and everyone has a chance to get the M10 they want. Sam will be up from cypress again, and tony will come. I'm not sure if I can afford it, but I'll be there to run it if need be.
As for FNM drafts, Midnight Comics usually does theirs and the player base is top notch... some of the people who run the place though seem to not give a !@#E if you are there or not (just a warning). They do drafts Fri and Sat at 8pm.

Heh... if you guys feel like Midnight's staff is not providing good service, just ask to speak to John Simon (he's an ass kicker - owner - and wouldn't put with that for a minute). that cracks me up. he'd be PISSED! Tell him Rob Ogre said hi, btw.

I know Sam was really not happy with the customer service in the afternoon. The late night guy they had there was catering to their ""pro"" players, but was cool.

yeah well i agreee....maybe draft shards..(i will say im tired of it thou)...or we could just do type two tounrey and use m10 as prize support...im fine with whatever you guys wanna do
